R.Y.A. Courses May Be Run Using Your Own Boat
THE
BOAT MUST BE SUITABLE FOR THE COURSE
- Medway
Cruising School will offer you on a daily or weekly hire
basis the use of all safety equipment if necessary, to bring
your boat up to the required standard for the duration of
the course.

- The
boat should be in sound condition and adequately equipped both
for safety and effective instruction.

- Your
boat must be insured, inform your insurance company that you
are using the boat for an R.Y.A course and that you are engaging
an instructor from the Medway Cruising School.

- Own
Boat Tuition is charged at a daily rate plus all instructors'
expenses.
|
- Instructors
travel is usually by private car due to the ammount of
equipment they carry.
|
- The
length of a day is variable. It will depend on the duration
of the course, the times of the tides etc.
|
- We
will arrange for an instructor to take charge and instruct on
your boat during your holiday cruise, or during the course of
the delivery of your boat.
|
- Safe
manning: It may be necessary on some larger boats to ensure
that there is adequate crew / students for the safe operation
of the boat.
