- AIM:
To teach boat handling and safety.

- EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED: Nil.

- THE
COURSE: During this course we will teach you to understand
the use and control of the two engines, basic berthing and unberthing,
general boat handling, steering, local regulations, securing
to a mooring buoy and anchoring.

- DURATION:
The course is run over two days living onboard the boat.
|
- CRUISING
AREA: The cruising area for this course is the River
Medway, as far as the Isle of Sheppy and a little of the Thames
Estuary.

- ALTERNATIVES:
The Helmsman and Day Skipper courses may be combined as a single
five-day course.
